Health Family Commercial System - Health Check
About the Health Check project
The Department of Health and Social Care wants to support NHS organisations to get the most out of the Health Family eCommercial System. The system is centrally funded and has been in place since 2021.
The Health Check project is designed to review system adoption and use across England. The aim is to improve the system collaboratively while supporting users and organisations to get the most out of it.
To do this, we are seeking feedback from all individuals and organisations using the system, whether you are a system lead, administrator or daily practitioner/someone who regularly accesses the system.
- The initial survey is for anyone who uses or interacts with the system and takes approximately [5] minutes to complete.
- The advanced survey is for system leads, super users and delegated administrators and takes approximately [15] minutes to complete. Advanced survey respondents should still complete the initial survey first as the questions are different.
The final deadline to complete the surveys is Friday 28 August 2026.
Your feedback will be used to:
- Develop advice, training and guidance for users
- Identify technical system improvements
- Investigate and address local challenges
- Inform national standards and best practice, including complex processes and collaborative practices.

About us
The CSU Atamis Support Team has specialist expertise in implementing and embedding the commercial system at an organisational, system and regional. We can work alongside your team to:
- Ensure your system information is complete, accurate and timely
- Run contract amnesties
- Help establish a minimum data set for contract activity
- Streamline processes and functions to improve efficiency
- Deliver targeted training to embed the system more fully
- Produce recommendations and action plans which ensure you continue to get the most out of the system
- Ensure you stay aligned with the latest direction of travel and governance from the centre.
Not only does full adoption of the system within commercial processes and functions increase opportunities for efficiency and cost effectiveness but it will also ensure your compliance with the latest legal and regulatory reporting requirements.
