Reviewing your EPR system - listening to your experiences
Introduction
Thank you for agreeing to take part in this work. We’re speaking to colleagues across different services in your organisation to understand more about your Electronic Patient Record and how it helps or hinders your day-to-day work. This is an independent review to explore areas of improvement for your organisation and how this relates to use of
- the What Good Looks Like (WGLL) Framework and
- the Digital Capabilities Framework (DCF).
To summarise, What Good Looks Like brings together NHS national guidance and real-world experience to support digital transformation in one place. It has 7 success measures that will help frame the shape of our discussion today:
- Well led
- Ensure smart foundation
- Safe practice
- Support people
- Empower citizens
- Improve Care
- Healthy Populations
This is further supported by the Digital Capabilities Framework which helps NHS organisations understand the application capabilities that electronic patient records (EPR) and other systems need to support safe, effective integrated care and to identify digital learning and developmental needs.
