Tell us what you think about head and neck cancer follow up care

Since December 2018, patients who live in Wiltshire and Swindon have been offered follow up appointments at Great Western Hospital in order to avoid frequent travel to Oxford University Hospitals. 

The 'Care Closer to Home' project, based on patient feedback, clinical evidence and best practice, has seen the clinic space at Great Western Hospital refurbished and more specialist staff recruited. 

The team of head and neck cancer specialists includes a speech and language therapist, a dietitian, a clinical nurse specialist, a clinical psychologist, a restorative dentist, and a patient coordinator.
