Training Needs Assessment for Primary Care Practitioners
Focus: Management of Post-Menopausal Bleeding (PMB) and bleeding related to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
What is this about?
Thames Valley Cancer Alliance (TVCA) are conducting a survey to better understand the training needs of Primary Care Practitioners around the management of PMB and bleeding related to HRT. We are leading a project with primary and secondary care partners to design and implement an unexpected bleeding pathway for people receiving HRT to enable management outside an urgent suspected cancer referral where clinically appropriate.
Who is this survey for?
This survey is for all General Practitioners who refer PMB and PMB on HRT to secondary care via the USC route due to bleeding.
Your input is invaluable in shaping a training programme that supports your needs and preferences.
Who we are
TVCA is among the 21 Cancer Alliances established to bring together cancer leaders, commissioners, service providers, people affected by cancer and third-party stakeholders to take a whole pathway, whole population approach to delivering transformational change in cancer services across its defined geography.
We bring together the key organisations in our area to coordinate cancer care and to improve outcomes for patients locally. Read more about our organisation.
We are committed to ensuring your responses remain confidential and will only be used for the purpose of identifying and addressing training needs across practices. Although we ask for your practice and professional role, please be assured that all survey data will be aggregated and anonymized in the analysis. No individual responses will be identifiable in any reports or discussions that follow. Your honest and open feedback is invaluable to helping us improve training offerings. We aim to create an accurate picture of current needs without linking specific responses to any one person or role. If you have any concerns about anonymity, please feel free to reach out to england.tvcards@nhs.net for further information on how your data will be handled.
The survey will close on 10 December 2024.
