    Video Relay Service/ Interpretation and Outreach

    A consistent offer across the whole county to offer the elderly cohort d/Deaf people one service to accessibility into services. Currently there are a number of different offers which can be confusing for users (who to contact for what service). Also I spoke about a collaborative approach for services to do outreach work by seconding on a community bus visiting hard to reach areas. Hopefully to promote services and tackle rural/health inequalities through a shared path.

    More Social Housing

    There is a massive shortfall of this kind of housing and the private rented market is simply too expensive for most people on low incomes or benefits. It is difficult under current legislation but a concerted drive to build these homes is needed.
