The Digital Readiness Team at Health Education England is very keen to hear what you think of our work to support the creation of a professional landscape for Digital, Data, Information and Technology Experts in health and social care.
There are many different organisations, including professional bodies, networks, education and training providers, already established in this area, and our aim is to understand what communities are already established, where we need to support new networks and how we can create a structure that supports, develops and reaches all our digital experts.
The Connected Communities project was set up following research on career pathways in health and care informatics in 2020, which made a series of recommendations to support and strengthen both current and new networks.
A recommendations and actions have now been developed and we are offering a half day workshop to explore these. The workshop will be repeated across a range of dates to encourage any staff working in health informatics, across the NHS and Social Care, to contribute to these proposals.
We would particularly like to hear from:
Anyone working in digital, data, information, knowledge and technology in health and social care (in any area including NHS, social care, education, charities, suppliers)
Those who are not currently members of any professional networks
Those early in their career
The workshop will run 12.30 - 4pm and will be repeated across the following dates:
Tuesday 23 February - FULLY BOOKED
Thursday 25 February - FULLY BOOKED
Tuesday 2 March
Wednesday 3 March
If you would like to attend one of these events, please complete our booking form. If you have any queries about this event, please contact us on digitalreadiness@hee.nhs.uk.
