South Central and West (SCW) is an NHS organisation providing support and transformation services to health and care systems. Our purpose is to support you to achieve the best possible outcomes for people, communities and populations.

The SCW HR, Workforce and OD directorate provides subject matter expertise (SME) covering workforce, human resources (HR), organisational development (OD). SCW has recently invested in expanding its Equality, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) and Wellbeing consultancy team in response to an increased demand for EDI and wellbeing support. 

The EDI & Wellbeing consultancy team are developing a high-quality EDI & Wellbeing consultancy offer for customers. 

To do this we are conducting market research to understand current market and the customer demand for EDI & Wellbeing consultancy services across the health care system to assess the demand. 

The work will also contribute to meeting SCW organisational objectives:

• Cultivate a broad customer base across health and care
• Develop excellent relations with emerging ICS’s and a strong ICS offer
• Become a trusted brand: deliver quality and be top-of-mind when a system needs help
• Support NHS recovery through offers which meet population needs specifically: Workforce & EDI and Wellbeing.

The aim is to understand the market and establish gaps/opportunities that SCW could fill, given its comprehensive multi-disciplinary infrastructure and strong reputation in the field of Workforce, HR and OD and recent addition of EDI & Wellbeing Subject Matter Expertise (SME).

The ask – we have developed a variety of ways (interviews, survey, presentations, and workshops) so we can listen and hear different people’s thoughts to capture valuable views to help us shape the EDI & Wellbeing offer.
