SCW CHIS General Practice and Health Visitor engagement

SCW Child Health Information Services (CHIS) is an NHS-commissioned service that is responsible for collating immunisation and screening data from healthcare professionals for children aged 0-19 in a specified area, into a single child health record.

The CHIS national specification requires that SCW CHIS notify healthcare providers when children are missing any immunisations or screening so that every child can be offered their missing interventions. This will provide an additional failsafe, inform safeguarding and address health inequalities.

SCW CHIS will be sending reports to General Practice and Health Visitors with missing immunisations and screening results.

Please take 5 minutes to respond to the survey below to share your team's preferences and suggestions around how you would like to receive this reporting to ensure it is structured and communicated in a way that is useful to you.
